Another symbol of Milan is the Brera Art Gallery (Italian: Pinacoteca di Brera) and the world-famous La Scala Theater (Italian: Teatro alla Scala). Other Italy vacations destinations in Lombardy are: the Como Lake, which has become famous all over the world thanks to the actor George Clooney, the Valtelline (Italian: Valtellina) ski runs, the birthplace of the Olympics champion Deborah Compagnoni and the Lake Maggiore, famous thanks to the Rocca Borromeo.
